Unbelievable Result of AsNTM 2

When the judges announce the winner of Asia's Next Top Model cycle 2, I was like "WHAAAT?! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS!!!"

My tweet was favorited by more than 50 people and retweeted more than 50 times. I mean, it's clear, right? I'm not saying the competition was unfair, BUT, Sheena doesn't looks like Asian. She's blonde. Like I said in my twitter account, she looks like american-girl-wanna-be instead. Either way, she looks like forced to be asian. I think she must change her hair color into brown, black, or brunette and see what happens.




Four reasons why Sheena shouldn't win:
1. She's blonde. For the record, I'm Asian, and there is no way asian has naturally blonde hair, unless they're mix.

2. She's too skinny. Asian teenagers would think skinny is sexy because the winner of Asia's Next Top Model 2 is skinny. Don't you think???

3. She has poker face. Some other think it's similar to horse's face, but I'm not agree with that. I mean, don't be rude. It was just same expression in almost all photo challenge.

4. She has poor achievement. How many times she won best photograph? Once? Twice? Poor.

I wonder how Subaru TV commercials gonna be when Sheena drive it. I wonder how Tresemme campaign would be when Sheena flip her hair in the commercials. I wonder how Harper Bazaar magazine looks like when Sheena in the cover. Sorry to say but they really need a professional photographer. Well, Sheena is a model. She can pose, act sometimes, but everything is all about look. Asian look, not some skinny blonde with poker face.

Anyway, let's talk about the plus. Sheena has strong face, judges said. Honestly, I don't get that. She might be pretty, but not enough for a modeling industry. I thought it was gonna be Marie or Jodilly. They both won best photograph like twice or thrice, but Sheena? Pffftttt.

I bet Sheena would be bullied a lot, especially online. She must hire bodyguards. However, congratulation to her. But if I was Malaysian, I wouldn't be proud because it's all bias. AsNTM2 held in Malaysia, and two of the judges in final episode was Malaysian. Do you think what I think?

People think the sponsors bribe the judges. But we can't blame the judges or even Sheena here. This is fate (?). We must pay respect to her because she did her best. The way I see it, Sheena was struggling along the competition, just like the other girls. If Sheena is the new look for Asian modeling industry, let it be. Maybe this is how the competition works for the judges.

But I feel sorry for the show. It's like, they loses their credibility in one day. I feel like, can not see the
judges the same way again. And we shouldn't be worry, because the real competition is after the result. Fashion industry is hard, that's the real life, right? I'm sure Jodilly, Katarina, Marie, or even Janice would have many jobs after this. Probably a lot more than Sheena would.

This is Jodilly (right) and Katarina (left), contestant from Philipina. SEE? Asian looks!

I do support Jodilly. Her progress during the competition was better than other. But, Katarina has prettiest face (in my opinion). In the end, still clients who decide.

People on twitter was actually meaner than what I paste here. They were saying "I don't even want to drive Subaru" or "I don't wanna use Tresemme shampoo", and "I don't even want to be an Asian!" kind thing. But let's not go there.
